The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints covers all operational costs for the Light the World Giving Machine initiative. This means 100% of your donation goes to the participating nonprofit.

Occasionally the nonprofit may need to make an item substitution to meet unexpected needs. When this occurs, replacement products or services stay in the same category as the original donation.

In most places, the Giving Machine kiosks accept credit and debit cards and mobile payment services. In a few countries, cash is also accepted.
